According to the first information revealed by TMZ, the model and the jiu-jitsu instructor got married in the luxurious mansion where they live, in Miami, on September 3, 2025. Among the guests were only close friends and family of the couple.
In an interview with People, a source gave new details about the lovebirds’ relationship. According to a close friend of Gisèle and Joaquim, who was already the model’s jiu-jitsu instructor before their relationship, the birth of River changed the couple’s plans, but did not push them to get married.
“Since the baby was born, getting married felt natural to her. It had nothing to do with outside pressures or expectations. It was something she wanted for personal reasons and for her family. She is very, very happy. Gisele didn’t feel the need to share the wedding with anyone outside of her family circle. It just reflected the moment she’s living in,” the source said.
