Dado Dolabella accused of drunkenness and escape after accident in São Paulo

Dado Dolabella was involved in a road accident in the early hours of Saturday 20. The actor’s car collided with the vehicle of an app driver, at the exit of the drive-thru of a Burger King, on Avenida Doutor Ricardo Jafet, in the southern zone of São Paulo.

“He left the service at high speed and hit the side of my car. When he got out, he was transformed, with the appearance of being drunk,” said Jurandir João de Brito, 60, in a statement to the civil police, reported by Leo Dias Portal. The driver also accuses Dado of fleeing the scene without helping him.

In a video sent to Earth Through his press office, Dado denies fleeing the scene of the incident. “That’s not true. I was leaving the drive-thru, I hadn’t yet gotten onto the road, when another car came and hit my car,” Dado explained. “The car that arrived had such dark insulation that I couldn’t see anything. So, probably because of that movie, he didn’t see me, hit my car, came out blaming me and screaming.”

According to the actor, the other driver did not respond to his request to moderate his tone and, in order to protect his teenage daughter who was traveling with him in the vehicle, he decided to leave the scene to file a complaint at the police station.

“Thank God there are cameras there and the truth will come out,” he assured.

Dado’s advisor also added that the actor does not drink.
