Bicheiro Adilson Oliveira Coutinho Filho, known as Adilsinho, on the run for more than a year, was denounced by the Rio Public Prosecutor’s Office (MPRJ) as having ordered yet another assassination. This time the victim was Fabricio Alves Martins de Oliveira, who worked in the cigarette business. According to the complaint, the motivation for the crime was the dispute over the illegal exploitation of the product in the West Zone. In addition to the offender, the MPRJ also requested the arrest of three men designated as executors, including a military police officer.

Adilsinho already has four outstanding arrest warrants, according to the National Bank of Arrest Warrants, of the National Council of Justice (CNJ). Three of them refer to the assassinations of Marco Antônio Figueiredo Martins, Marquinhos Catiri, his security agent, Alex Sandro José da Silva, and Fábio de Alamar Leite, Fabrício’s partner. All the crimes took place in 2022. For the capital police station (DHC), Catiri’s death was motivated by another conflict: territorial, involving Jogo do Bicho points and slot machines. The victim was the right-hand man of bicheiro Bernardo Bello, ex-husband of Tamara Garcia, daughter of criminal Waldemir Paes Garcia, known as Maninho, murdered in 2004, while leaving a gymnasium in Jacarepaguá, in the southwest area of Rio.
Details of the new complaint
The prosecutor of the 2nd Prosecutor’s Office specializing in criminal investigation, Alexandre Themístocles, filed a complaint against Adilsinho and the executors: military police officer Daniel Figueiredo Maia, José Ricardo Gomes Simões and Alex de Oliveira Matos. The homicide occurred on the afternoon of October 2, 2022, at Posto Ipiranga Cremoneze, located on Estrada do Mendanha, Campo Grande. According to the complaint, “in a coordinated manner, as part of typical extermination group activity,” the trio shot Fabrício as he left the gas station convenience store.
The DHC investigation indicates that the victim was driving a Range Rover Evoque and was followed by a white Ford Ka, used by the executioners. When Fabricio stopped the vehicle, he was hit by 14 rifle and pistol shots. According to the autopsy report, he was hit in the skull, chest and abdomen.

“Driven by an abject sense of greed, linked to conflicts between rival criminal organizations over the exploitation of the clandestine cigarette trade, the defendants acted for a base reason. »
In September, the same prosecutor charged Adilsinho with the murder of Fábio de Alamar Leite. In this case, in addition to the director, DHC appointed José Ricardo Gomes Simões as one of the executors. The other shooter would be Átila Deive Oliveira da Silva. The crime took place around the Inhaúma cemetery, in the northern zone of Rio. Fábio had just left the funeral of his partner, Fabrício de Oliveira, who had died two days earlier.
According to the prosecutor, the cruel sequence of crimes highlights the intention to kill and the motivation of the perpetrator: the dispute over the exploitation of the illegal cigarette trade. All defendants are responsible for the crime of capital homicide.
Adilsinho also received two arrest warrants from the Federal Court for criminal organization and extortion.
