In the early hours of this Sunday, a serious episode of violence occurred in front of a bowling alley in downtown La Plata, when several young people broke out in a fight that spilled into the street and led to moments of great tension. There were beatings, threats and stone-pelting, the sequence of which was recorded by witnesses.
According to videos circulating on social networks, the conflict began with an argument between groups who had just left the nightclub. The situation quickly spiraled out of control, leading to pushing, running and attacks as other people tried to flee to avoid being caught in the middle of the confrontation.
In the images, threats from some of those involved can be heard while blunt objects were thrown in the middle of the street, causing fear and terror among neighbors and passers-by. The violence forced emergency calls to be made to the police as there was a risk of the incident escalating.
Minutes later, police officers arrived and managed to disperse the groups and normalize the situation. Although there were no official reports of injuries, measures were taken to identify the protagonists and determine the origin of the confrontation.
