
A 42-year-old man was found dead yesterday morning in Calle Foment, in the municipality of Molins de Rei (Barcelona), with wounds caused by a knife, sources close to the investigation learned. The Mossos d’Esquadra were alerted yesterday around four in the morning that there was a lifeless person on the ground in the aforementioned street.
A statement from the Catalan police said that members of the Mossos, the Molins Urban Police and the Emergency Medical System (SEM) attended the scene and confirmed that the man was dead.
The Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) of the Mossos demarcation of the Southern Metropolitan Region took charge of the investigation into this case, which is subject to judicial secrecy.
The second discovery of the body of a lifeless man took place this Sunday afternoon in a wooded area in the town of Tarragona. Some neighbors found a body with gunshot wounds and called emergency services.
